RCA 5U4G hanging filaments
RCA 5U4G as replacement for vintage Mallard 5AR4 (b32) rectifier tube in the ModWright power supply model PS 9.0 used to drive pair of buffer RCA 7400 tubes in the ModWright CD player. Installing RCA 5U4G made improvement in sound quality in every aspect, specially details presentation in the mid and low bass range. Highly recommended tube for this type of application.
