Getting compression socks on and off - no problem!
Getting my compression socks on and off using rubber gloves was a frustrating struggle. With the Doff N' Donner, I struggle no longer. This simple device makes the process easy. And unlike some of the other devices I considered, this one is small and easy to pack when traveling. I definitely recommend this innovative device.

easy to use, doesn't tear skin
PROS This Donner Sleeve makes putting on compression socks so much easier. I have trouble gathering up the leg portion and stretching it enough to get it over my husband's feet. This just rolls on, a bit snugly, but easily. Sometimes sliding the foot with sleeve on it forward on the floor helps get it over the heel. The skin is fragile and this rolls over it (and any necessary bandages) with out tearing the skin. CONS The Tower made for this was too expensive for me (over $30), so I made one from 2" PVC pipe about 4 feet long. (I set it on the floor, put the sock on it, put the sleeve on it and roll it onto the sleeve. I tried using my small arm but it was too awkward. See my pictures.

Received on August 22nd, 2019, after eleven (11) days (ordering and paying immediately on Aug. 11th, 2019).
Should be bought with the Cone (aid for sleeves and socks), but you can go without it. My spouse needs to help me anyway because my elbows and back are bad. A bit expensive ,,, but is is a thing use with hygiene concerns so hard to find.

Too difficult for really old people.
My wife is almost 80 years old. I am older than her. We struggled a lot and still could not use the Donner. She is able to do it the conventional way. Thanks for letting us try it.

EASY TO USE
WELL, THERE ARE MANY PRODUCTS OUT ON THE WEB THAT ARE LESS HELPFUL THAN ADVERTISED, BUT THIS PRODUCT WORKS AND MAKES THE APPLICATION OF THE SOCKS SO MUCH EASIER.

putting on compression stockings
Using the Doff N' Donner cone allows the compression stocking, or any stocking, to be stationary until it can be wrapped or folded onto itself using the silicone donning aid. Why these are not advertised and sold as a set is beyond me. However, using the cone the stocking can be rolled onto itself with the silicone sleeve which then allows application of stocking onto the appendage of the patient. The silicone sleeve allows the stocking to go over the patients heel which will then position the stocking correctly. Once the stocking is in the proper and correct position on the foot, getting it up to the knee or mid-thigh is not a challenging. The videos which teach the proper application of the stocking and the proper use of the aids are wonderful are and should be used by anyone assisting in the application of a compression garment.

Wonderful!!!
It's more fun to watch and use than could have imagined. It works just like the video shows. We use our arm instead of the pillar.
