It features follow-focus gearing and a decoupled aperture an 8-bladed aperture and optical construction that is comprised of 12 elements divided into 10 optical groups with hybrid aspherical and aspherical lens elements. Clean Smooth Focus
I simply cannot give enough good remarks regarding this lens. If your looking to film weddings or take family portraits and want to film in a cinematic fashion, these lenses are great on a budget and over-deliver their capability. I am continuing to purchase them one by one, and will have the full set of Cine Lenses by the end of the year. Great lenses for Sony EMount. Don't get this lens!
This has to be one of the best values in lenses out there. I do mostly video work and the Rokinon lenses are nothing short of incredible. I have a few and I have a Canon 24-105 L lens I got for my C100 thinking, I'm never going to have to switch lenses now, but after using the Rokinons, I rarely touch it anymore. Even the still photos I shoot I like the look the Rokinon gives me and don't mind the manual focus at all. For the money, you can't go wrong. I just need to get the 50mm now and I'm set. You are probably wondering why I titled it "Don't get this lens! ". It's because I'm a full time videographer and I get jobs because my stuff looks better than the competitions. great fast prime cine lens for the price. Full manual focus & manual decked aperture. Very useful focal length with my APSC sensor cine cam Large, all-manual Cine Lens. A little confused...
This lens, when mounted, the T stops are upside down on the opposite side. I’m comparing to the 85 and 50 that i also own in this Cine DS series. Thought it was a little odd that this one is built that way. So it’s either some sort of factory default or this lens was remounted at some point and put back together wrong? Not sure. Also, the aperture ring is not as smooth as the other two that i own. But, Rokinon are really nice cine lenses for budget filmmakers. Introduction to professional world

Slow and hard focus ring

Best lens ever
