Enjoyable drama
The Our Girl series are very well written by Tony Grounds, containing good balance between serious human drama, action with some humour and a little romance. I think this has something for men and women of all ages and teens too. It is nice to find strong young women represented, with self esteem, independent thought, self discipline and committed to successful careers in their own right whilst also being able to have a loving relationship and great working relationships with good characterisation of decent and emotionally mature men.
