An iPad with this Lightning AV adapter needed for direct HDMI connections
You need an iPad or iPhone with this adapter if you want to have a direct HDMI connection to your TV. I stopped buying Android tablets because the name brands no longer support this capability. The adapter works every time without a glitch. Genuine Apple adapter
I also don’t understand the comments that this doesn’t work with updated phones. I am on Beta releases and it still works perfectly for me. iCloud Files, YouTube, CBS, Watchseries, Putlocker, all of it works. I don’t Netflix and chill nor do I Chromecast or Roku. I do jackpot on Big Fish and that works. I wanted something plug & play and screen mirroring is located on your (swipe up) control menu. This plays all of my downloaded movies and TV shows and I can look at my Instagram, GoPro, and iCloud, and play my games with no problem. I got this because I live off grid in the desert now. I can charge my phone and keep my tv on low energy wattage and still see my programs. It’s worth every penny. Slight sound glitch but great product
I use an iPhone 5 running iOS 10. (I have read that there may be different issues with this product using iOS 11, but I can't confirm). I've used his 2x so far and the same glitch has occurred both times, right after plugging this into my phone, around 2 minutes or so, the sound gets garbled, however after unplugging and then plugging it back in I can then play back to back youtube or internet videos with no issues. The sound and picture quality on this device is GREAT, despite the slight glitch right after plugging it in, I still recommend and have recommended this product to others who don't currently have a way to mirror their devices on their TVs. Be advised though, everything I have used so far has been mirrored and my kids even said they saw me entering in my password while this was plugged in, so keep that in mind if you aren't wanting those in the room to know how to unlock your phone.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Great Product

Works just fine. It comes in what looks sort of like an Apple box, but not on a card like Apple products I'm familiar with; so I can't really determine if this is a "genuine Apple" adapter. Good product I can watch all videos from google and you tube and any thing else on my phone and i pod. I have issues with the phone or i pod turning off after some time been on a video but I don't think it has anything to do with adapter, some setting in my devices that I haven't figured out just yet. Great way to big-screen telephone
I needed an easy way to stream TV shows from my iPhone to the TV. This seemed to be the cheapest way to do it. I've only used it a couple of times, but it worked exactly as I had hoped. I just plugged it in and answered a question or two and it was going. Same sound and picture quality as if I were watching a regular broadcast. This lightning strikes nicely.
The lightning to HDMI adapter is an excellent device for transferring your iPad screen videos to a tv or monitor. It maintains a clear picture and is easy to use. Works great! Requires HDMI cable to connect to TV and Apple Lightening cable to power adapter/iPhone. Allows you to watch anything you can stream on phone (or iPad) to large screen. Came without packaging or instructions but you can find plenty of “how to” videos or instructions online. Small inconvenience for saving over 50% off list price.
