Lightweight, pretty, and excellent value for the price.
I have only had the camera for just over a week, and having shot for years with Nikon DSLRs, I thought I would soon work out the differences. Not so fast! There are 55 external buttons and levers, and menus with multiple set up choices. I usually shoot with ISO, aperture and shutter speed in manual so I am relying on YouTube videos, of which there are many, to guide me through the various choices open to me, and it is interesting to see the various photographer's different preferences, and also to hear that the all seem to love the camera, even those who have actually bought one, rather than be sent one on which to comment. Don't let me put you off; stick it in auto and you will get super pics, but a good phone will do that. If you enjoy photography, and making a picture rather than taking a picture then this little gem is light, pretty (I have the silver one) and opens up endless possibilities. The video program is very highly thought of, but I am not going there yet. One tip, the aperture control is in the lens, and on the good kit lens, you turn the ring nearest to the camera, but it is not marked in stops up and down, but shown on the screen. Thanks YouTube!
I am sure that it will be easy to use once I ahve it set up to suit my style of photography.
