These Fender Custom Shop Fat 50s are a great way to get that vintage 1950s single-coil sound. This set of three pickups uses the highest quality materials. The Alnico 5 magnets will help you to hit those bass notes. Formvar magnet wire is used in winding them. The middle pickup is reverse-wound to limit humming noises. What a Strat is supposed to sound like.
These are the pickups that make a Strat sound like a Strat. Bright, "clucky", "quacky". If you want a fat, mellow sound, look elsewhere. If the sound is too crisp, you can always dial it back, but you can't make muddy pickups sound good. Is a used set with a broken bridge pickup and thats the best i can tell you.
