Great module for intermediate to newly advanced drummers
This TD-25 is exactly what I wanted n an upgrade for my TD8. After a little tweaking, I feel like I don't need to use my EZ Drummer software as much as I did with other modules I've had. Sound is a personal preference to some degree, but I do like the sounds of this module which are based on an older Roland flagship. The TD 30 I believe. This module is simple to use , looks good, allows you to upload kits, and samples for Roland and other companies like Drum Tec. A super advanced drummer or someone that gigs for money probably will want more features as found on the TD 30 or TD 50. I have no problem playing this for a church service or fun event. Roland TD25...hit or miss?
Roland hit a home run and then stuck out on the TD25. The internals in sound control and sound quality are AAA+++, But the kit selector wheel with labeled genres is absolutely the worse idea in electronic drums.
