Cheaper than retail if you can wait for it to ship.
The way Hayward designed this, it is very easy to crack when removing to clean the pump basket. Very important to clean all threads on the lid and the pump body. If you don't, you'll find, as I did, that any bit of grit that gets in the threads requires you to apply too much force to the lid to remove- and cracks it.
