it was probably worth it
so what I did is I replaced a satellite speaker KEF 1001.2 with center speaker. The primary reason behind that was my little kids who have knocked down the speaker a couple of times already. My other satellite speakers are mounted high on the walls, this one was simply standing on the sub. This speaker has connectors for 4 wires, I only have two, and that`s ok. This speaker is big and sturdy, I do not have to worry about it being knocked down any longer. I did not generally notice stark contrast in performance between satellite speaker and this, but in one movie there was a lightning strike. It sounded GREAT! Loved it. I think it makes nice addition to a sub and it's not too expensive, so great purchase overall; but there's honestly not a big difference in quality of sound between the satellite KEF and this one.
