Packs a punch...
I'm a huge fan of the electro harmonix pedals, and I'm especially a fan of their delay pedals. This one has a different chip in it and it has a very unique tone to go with it. I've never played with the tap Tempo version of this, but I am sure they're equally similar. I have the deluxe memory boy, and I love the tone too. Great pedal - amazing sound, well built, good features

The Best Overall Analog Delay
This is a unique sounding delay...analog, bright, yet warm. The effects loop provides so many options as well....add an EQ pedal, Flanger, Pitch Shift, or anything else you would like to create unique, amazing sounding delay repeats. The only problem is that it is an old design with clock noise after about 600mS, but the most useable sounds for many guitar players are 600mS or less delay so not a big issue.
