Lamkin Wedge Grip is longer, but smaller diameter
The Lamkin 3 GEN wedge grip is longer than a standard grip, but its profile tapers pretty rapidly and it is too small under the lower hand. Even with extra tape built up under the lower hand, it is still pretty small diameter. The white color shows bag grime pretty easily, too. The new Ping wedge grips, particularly in the midsized configuration (gold is midsized, white is standard), are much superior grips. I think the Lamkins will weather well, and be long-lasting, but they will need more underlisting tape and more soap-and-water washing than the dark-colored Ping grips. The Lamkin grips are better than the Titleist Bob Vokey wedge grips, however, which are very small diameter and quite expensive.
