Less messy than oil but washes off quickly.
Only been using Squirt lube on my commuting bike (derailleur gears) for a few months. The chain definitely stays cleaner than when I used Fenwicks wet weather lube previously, but it also seems to wash off more quickly when its raining and I have to reapply it immediately after to riding to prevent rust appearing on the rollers. The instructions tell you to just apply the lube to the rollers, which is fine, but the external faces of the side plates then go rusty fairly quickly, which looks bad. Even so, I'll probably continue to use it because its less messy and its much easier and more convenient than taking the chain off to dip it in hot wax lube, which I've also tried previously.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Wax Works.
Chains need lining and line attracts dirt, it's a fact of life which until the zero lube chain appears on the market has to be dealt with. I've tried many lines from standard bike oil to dry lube and finally thought I'd give a wax product ago. Dipping my chain in hot wax seemed like far to much faff, but when I saw this product I thought to try it out. I use it on my my general purpose/ winter/ wet weather bike as well as my best/ dry weather summer bike and I like the results. On my winter bike you can still tell I have a silver chain and on my best bike I don't have to clean and relube after every outing. Seems to repel crime leaving chain and gear change components clean

Excellent lube

Make energy transfer more efficient!
