Much better than the slot head version
Bought as old style bolt with slot for screwdriver seized and it mangled the head removing it. The allen key socket on this one should give better grip when removing. However I'll just wiggle it every time the bike is up on the stand, just to keep it free. The proof will be in 4 years time when I need to change pads again.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

100% satisfied with this great replacement (flat head > unbrako)
Perfect fit for my Shimano RS505. Had to drill out the one that was there, that was a flat head, with a broken head, as the screw was stuck and I destroyed the head when trying to get it out. With this I will never have to drill it out again. :)Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Should be standard equipment
This Allen bolt avoids the problem of the standard slot style brake pad pins which can be hard to remove resulting in the head getting stripped. This style fits my Ultegra callipers nicely. Expensive for what it is but worth it.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Shiny bit for ZEE calipers too!
I got these for my ZEE brakes to replace the frankly cr4p-looking split pins. I was reliably informed on a forum that the caliper is already tapped and would accept the XT pins,and so it was, these pins screw straight in and look a lot better and plus you can get them out trailside should you need to without having to carry pliers with you in your kit (and potentially a few new pins in case they snap from being repeatedly bent back and forth!)Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
