The wonders of Whalley Abbey in Lancashire.
The book outlines the history of Whalley Abbey , now in ruins, but definitely worth a visit . The book also tells of the history of Lancashire , while mostly dwelling on the fine history of this fine old Abbey . I have not yet finished reading , because it is a book one can dip into , ad it certainly appeals to me !
