I have seen a lot of negative reviews regarding these gates and certainly there is always bigger better quieter etc. It seems most come from the recording side which I understand. But for live music the old school way,(real musicians playing real instruments), they come through real nice. Its a brick an mortar unit for sure. A good rooster will crow in any barn. Gating works well.
My sound system always sounded like someone is frying bacon no matter how much I tune, I have all home made speaker boxes and a decent amount of equipment. I have a numark cdn450 cd player, numark m6usb mixer, behringer xenyx x120usb mixer, behringer super x pro crossover, audio centron eclipse crossover, 2 behringer ultragraph pro equalizer, bbe 882i sonic maximizer, aphex 104 aural exciter, samson servo 120a amp playing highs, crown micro-tech1200 on high mid/ low mid and crest pro-lite 2.0 on bass with all celestion speakers. I did not actually get to hear the real quality of my audio till I installed this thing and man am I impressed, I would absolutely recommend this device to everyone who's looking to have some serious gating done on a budget.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

great for gating drums during recording sessions
