First impressions
This is an inbox review. What drew my attention was the reduced number or parts in this kit. The fuselage basically comes in two parts, upper and lower. The lower half has the wings in one piece. Panel lines are recessed and the gaps look more realistic. The dry fit shows that the model won't need much putty. The cockpit lack a bit of detail on the side panels, but this is not a problem since the canopy is closed. There's the pilot seat, the instrument panel (decal) rudder pedals and the stick. The canopy is well designed and the styrene used is excellent quality as well as the other parts. Instructions are clear and the paint scheme is provided in color. The contents are well packed (the lower half is attached to a piece of cardboard to avoid warping and the canopy is wrapped in plastic foam) Overall my firts impressions of this Hobbyboss model of the Do 335 are really good. Looking forward to build it. Alex
