Good kit for the money but the clocks lose time.
I have these front and rear dash cam kits on five vehicles. It's the wild west on Britain's roads and they are now essential kit. They are generally easy to fit. All the parts just plug in to each other. Most of the time fitting is spent removing and replacing trim on the vehicle it's being fitted to. The picture quality is OK. It's no better or worse than other cameras in the price bracket. It's good enough to capture number plates going in the same direction as you but struggles with plates on vehicles approaching. That's a limitation of 30 frames per second technology. Faster frame rates cost more money. So far they've been reliable with a caveat. The oldest camera is now four years old and it's just showing signs of trouble with a ripple slowly moving down screen. I have tried a number of power supplies with it and the problem remains so it's a camera issue. My biggest gripe is with the clocks. Every last one of them loses time and I have to reset the clocks every month or so. I first noticed this on one car that was involved in a minor incident; the clock had lost several weeks! So, overall, the kit is better than a lot of the ultra cheap Chinese tat, with weird names, that you see on offer. It all plugs in without problems. Most of your fitting time will be taken up dealing with the vehicle trim. The pictures are fit for purpose and the kit is good for the money. I'd give it five stars overall but for the clock problem.

Very good, easy to fit but SD card brand important.
Good camera, easy to fit and set up. My only gripe is that it will only accept an SD memory card of Nextbase brand. I had a very good branded one from my old one and it wouldn't accept it purely because of not made by Nextbase.

Decent, good value bit of kit and relatively easy for a d.i.y. installation
Decent, good value bit of kit and relatively easy for a d.i.y. installation - running the cable to the rear camera can be a bit fiddly but in the box is a trim removal/pry tool which will help if you don't already have your own. Bought mine with a 64gb Nextbase SD card which apparently records up to four hours HD footage on two cameras. Does not include a 'hard-wire' power kit (just the standard 12v socket plug), but all works fine.
