Sound for a friend.
I purchased a Boss ME-50B for a friend. My friend is a bass player. While I never actually heard it yet, I felt I had to relay the fact that he is happy with the unit. The unit I purchased was used and came without a power supply or manual. I was able to download a manual from Roland/Boss, as they have them online. He is happy about the price, the quality of sound, and the support from the manufacturer. Once he incorporates the new sounds into his bands format, I will be able to give an amended view of it. EBay asked for a review NOW, so this is it.

I am biased toward the Boss Roland line and dont have a lot of experience so excuse my idiocy.
Going from a Line 6 bass pod to the me50B the sound quality of the me50 stands out. The bass pod was good and I enjoyed it , it did alot and did it pretty good ,with some but not alot of effect variation control , but the personal variation allowed on the me50 is easy and with 3 control knobs on each sound , let alone layering the 3 pedal controlled sound categories each having 3 knobs , its tight ,nuanced fun. I love the Boss Roland line, this met high expectations. Its like having a table top control panel you can put on the floor and have 3 stomp boxes and an expression pedal.

Easy to use analog controls.
What a pleasure! Every effect is easy to figure out without using a manual and most importantly, analog controls! Nothing like turning off your setup when finished without having to store your settings for next time.

Boss ME-50B okay to use...
I noticed the pedal has to be pressed down all the way to get full volume?, the effects sound cool though on my bass guitar. I was able to order a power adapter for 5 bucks and I needed a y adapter for the 1/4 phono connect which I was able to order.

Boss ME 50
If you want multiple effects that are useable and quiet noise wise this is for you, takes a little until you learn it but can’t find fault with it. Would never go back to multiple pedals. Very satisfied with this product.
