Strange but Engaging
I really like this movie. It's strange in the best way possible, though somewhat confusing. What struck me most about the film is the attention to detail. In one scene that occurs at a bar the song "I'm My Own Grandpa" by Granpa Jones is playing in the background. While easily overlooked, the song foreshadows the ending and almost encapsulates the plot. I loved that little detail. As for the product itself, the DVD arrived on time and in good condition. Good enough movie nothing extraordinary
The reviews have been pretty good around the net so I was expecting better. Many reviews have suggested the movie was slightly confusing and that they may have to watch it a second time; I was pleasantly surprised by the end however not confused. Yes, there are twists and turns but that's what movies like this do for the viewer. Mentally Teasing
Quite soon into the film I had an insight about the plot, but as the story continued I learned it was even more involved and engaging than I initially supposed. It had me re-thinking the story repeatedly as it went along. Then I gave it all even more thought after I watched it.
