Dirty Mary Crazy Larry
A great story, beleivable characterisation, and fine acting throughout. Dialog is at times a little shallow, but that's easily overlooked. Great visuals, and action sequences, and the 440 Dodge Charger is very much a leading star, it's awesome,, and captures the imagination.
Great cast includes Peter Fonda, Roddy Mcdowall, Susan George, a rare appearance by Adam Roarke, who delivers a fine performance, that engenders genuine empathy.
Vic Morrow is great as a hard nosed and verbose enforcement offical. The irrony of his fate in future tradgedy, being underscored by his flying in a helicopter through some risky manuvers, through the second half of the film, is not lost.
The second half of a touching theme song, follows the abrupt ending. Great and memorable film, that you'l want to own and revisit, An essential addition to a collection, of that gendre. Additional features include interviews with surviving cast and the director. Trailers, and a modest asortment of production stills.
