Replacement lava lamp bulb
Lava lamps need the heat generated from filament bulbs to energise the paraffin inside the lamp. LED lamps do not generate enough heat. This bulb works perfectly and given they are in short supply buying two makes sense so you have a backup when the current bulb comes to the end of its life. Also the physical size of the bulb being small fits perfectly inside the lamp. A good buy from a good ebayer, recommended.

It is a light bulb!
I am unable to use this bulb as it is not the correct size for my outside light, my fault but as it looked the right shape I wrongly presumed it was a suitable replacement.

Delighted to find the bulb my Lava lamp ...
Delighted to find the bulb my Lava lamp needed (no longer available in local shops) I was able to fit it at once and my Lamp is working, and I am happy! Thank you

Just the job!
Didn’t know if this would work properly with our lamp, or be as easy to fit/ remove, but no problems. Lower wattage than original, which doesn’t seem to make any difference at all.

Duds
The first of two bulbs failed within hours the second lasted 3 days. Vendor replaced one of the bulbs with a different make which didn’t even heat the oil.
