Bose hits another home run
Being familiar with and owning many Bose products, this looked like something I might be interested in, mainly for convenience. I purchased one, and it lives up to its description, very clean, and loud for its size and weight, featuring the Bose signature sound. Two days later, I purchased a second one. My intended use is for DJ'ing smaller events without having to carry larger equipment. I own an L1 model 2 with b2 bass x2 for larger events. I have not yet used it in an official event, but I've set it up and tested it, it's pretty awesome, for it's size. I'm guessing it will service 50 to 80 people, maybe even more. It does not produce heart thumping bass, obviously, but covers the full spectrum of music very efficiently. I will be testing it for the first time in a few days, and it looks like there will be a lot of snow in the area...15 pounds apiece, It's already worth it! Oh, did I mention, it's portable? I got the batteries, which give the unit full power up to 6 hours- Fantastic!

Sounds good, compact and easy to use
Compact, stylish and easy to move around and operate. Newer lithium ion battery technology for longer lasting charge (maybe?). Sounds good too, for small venue applications or practice at home. I like the built in reverb effect with controls on two of the three 'mixer' channels. Portable PA gives a feeling of quality.

Great speakers for true portability and sound.
I have 2 of these Bose S1 Pro speakers and use them to increase coverage at open air markets and farmer's markets and they work very well. They're excellent for vocals and acoustic instruments. There are a few improvements that would have made them better -- Level control on the Aux/BT input, Master Level Control and a Mute Pedal input. Other than my recommended improvements and the high price I still recommend this speaker for its intended use and I definitely would buy them again!

Easily Portable
The unit came quite quickly, considering it was sent from BC. It works well with my keyboard and as a second speaker with my group. The battery operation is crucial to me as it will be used at our daughter's outdoor wedding where there is no power. The only problem with it (which was not mentioned in the listing) is that the grill on one side is coming off and won't snap back into place. I tried strong double-sided tape, but that didn't work. It doesn't seem to affect the performance, but it doesn't look good. Other than that, I am happy with the speaker.

The Bose S1 Pro has great portability for practice and enough power for small venues.
It's nice to have Bass, Treble and REVERB adjustments. I like that you can put it on a speaker stand or lay it on the floor with a tilt angle option. So far battery has lasted more than enough for what ever I was doing. It's not the loudest out there, but it's has very good sound. I can can be paired with another Bose S1 Pro or any other amp.

Good product by Bose but pricey
It is a good speaker with the line array technology but was surprised by how tiny it is although it has a big sound and projection. It would be useful for those who gig often because it's very lightweight. Very good for coffee house gigs. 1 less star because it's expensive.

Nice small speaker system with a big sound.
Awesome speaker system. Love the sound and easy portability to gigs. Also can be used as a house speaker system along with Bluetooth.

It's a Banger
This thing is a Hanger. Best speaker around the battery lasts ages very loud. Can connect via Bluetooth easily. I use it like a sound bar with my TV when not pumping beats.
