Accurate, Versatile & Good Value
Accurate, Easy to use & good value! This unit with the main LCD display separated by a coiled wire is wall mountable making it easy to view the display with large items. The main unit is powered by a wall adapter which is included but also can be powered by two 'AAA' batteries which are also included. Having the option to power up the scale with batteries is great if you want to wall mount the main display where no power outlet is nearby like in my case. Other competing products were similar but did not include the AC wall adapter or batteries. The other plus to having the weight pad and LCD display separate is you can place the weighing pad on a nearby desk, counter or on the floor depending on the size & weight of the item being weighed. This product is very similar to a postal outlet scale but costs considerably less. This Scale is very accurate, before I started shipping I weighed a block of aluminum roughly 15 lbs and noted the exact weight as displayed, I then took the same piece of aluminum to my local postal outlet and weighed it again and the result was exactly the same. Now after using it several times to ship items it is exactly accurate approx 7 of 10 times, the other 3 of 10 items is within 0.002 kg +/- 0.001 - handles large parcels to 110 lbs / 50 kg. Not sure about the long term accuracy & durability after a decade of use, but will update my review if needed. I also have a standard type scale with the LCD display built in and it can be a problem when weighing large parcels, hard to see the display with large boxes that have to be weighed on the floor. Easy to read blue back lit display! Overall this product is well made, easy to use, has two power options both of which are included & is very accurate for a fair price. Inexpensive Scales
Great scales for the money..I really like the way there made, compact and easy to read display plus accurate each time..great bargain

Quality control not great, esp for battery operated part.
Product only works using the a/c adapter. Does not work on batteries at all. (And yes, I did pull out the little plastic strip that goes between the battery post and the contact :) Similar problem with the identical unit I bought a few months ago. The battery compartment lid was actually glued on the previous one. I chiselled it off and put 2 new rechargeable in right from new, now that one works on both a/c or battery. Just seems like the quality control is lacking on these

Makes life easier
This is a very convenient scale with the detached readout. Weights match up to the oz. with the post office.

Great weight scale for small business
Works well. Weighs objects over 100 lbs to 1 oz precision.

Accurate and repeatable
I’ve had the scale about a month now. Checks within a 10th of an ounce from my local post office. Package weight is consistent with each way weighing if I repeatedly take it on and off the scale.
