Accurate and Easy to Use
This item is easy to use and it dispenses powder charges accurately. What I like most about it is while it is measuring out a charge, I can do other things like trim brass or seat primers. The unit will beep when the charge is measured and so I stop what I'm doing, pour the powder into a case, set the small pan back on the scale and it automatically dispenses another charge. It is a tad slow in dispensing the charge, it takes 20-30 seconds or so for each one. I would only recommend this unit for dispensing extruded powders that won't meter through a powder measure; powders like H4831 or IMR 4064. The small pan that comes with the unit is too small in my opinion. When the powder is dispensed from the hopper (through a spinning tube) it must fall an inch or two to the pan. The pan that is supplied with the unit allows way too much powder to bounce out and spill onto the workbench. So, I use a pan that came with my powder scale. Even then several kernels of powder bounce out and collect on the workbench. But, overall I like it and will continue to use this Chargemaster.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

The best alternative to a chargemaster 1500
I went with the chargemaster lite because of The 1500 wouldn't fit on the shelf I designed for my scale, the lite does. I was hesitant about getting the lite at first.. with it being new and less expensive, I figured they cut corners... they didn't. So far I've loaded about 270 charges with it, only one was over. I check the scale every 100 or so rounds with check weights and it's been dead on every time. The touch screen is also a neat feature, but I could see that possibly leading to problems..RCBS stands behind their products from my experience When I received my lite, I did have a chance to check it out untill the next day. I did everything the instructions said, but after calibrating, the scale would start counting up, almost like a clock.. I called rcbs and the gentleman I spoke with spent 15 min trying to troubleshoot it... nothing worked. I heard him say " oh man", so I'm thinking here we go, I'm going to have to go through the whole warrenty process, pay for postage and wait at least 3 weeks untill I would receive a working unit.... I was dead wrong, he asked for my address ( he already knew my name because they ask for it when you call rcbs) then proceeded to tell me they would ship out a replacement the following day after they opened it and made sure it works. 6 days later (would have been 5, but ups and mail doesn't go on Memorial Day) I received my working chargemaster lite and couldn't be happier with it.. if your thinking about buying one... Easy charges now
Weighting your charges is now more easier and faster, simply type charge and press button. Auto mode will drop new charge after pan is set back on dispenser. Dispenser is compact and not noisy at all comparing to others. Accuracy of weights for Varget is +\- 0.1 grain according to tests on lab grade weight. 42.5grain charge takes about 30 seconds.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

absolutely great product and the price was pretty great too
I love the charge master lite, I think it is more accurate and consistent than my friends charge master that cost way more. I have checked every 5 th measure and some random and they have been spot on using magpro for my 270 WSM. I will be using it on some 4831 SC soon and I hope it will do as well. I have not found any cons, the only possibility is that the screen is very sensitive . That is more of a thing to get used to than a problem. Extra Trickle For Your Buck
The scale is accurate and the dispenser is precise. With both in the same package, putting just the right charge on the reload makes reloading so much easier. The machine is programmable and the touchscreen makes it easier to read and dial. Just like many great things, quality comes with a price, but you get what you pay for. Inexpensive product

Works great on extruded and flake powder. Wish I would have got one earlier.

Still producing quality products
Have used the big Combo, but it took up a lot of bench. This takes up about half as much space and is accurate. Triple checked test throws with an M5 Lyman beam scale and this RCBS is spot on.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
