Great strings
I have used D'Addario EJ16-3D Strings many times before, they are my go to strings for my acoustic needs. They also sound good through my acoustic amplifier and always a great sound when played unplugged. They have a decent life on them too but this does depend on how much you play of course, I play 2 to 3 hours on and off each day. I would always recommend these great strings.

Good with resevations
These strings were to replace some very light gauge strings on an epiphone acoustic guitar. The original strings (ultra light 10.47) could sound a bit jangly at times and as epiphone dont recommend heavy gauge strings for this guitar I bought these at 12.53 gauge. They are quite bright but when bedded in give a more balanced sound than the originals. The jangly sound has been replaced with a bright forward sound and most of the jangliness? has gone. Quite pleased with them overall.

I prefer D'addario strings and have used them for many years.
I use EJ17s on my dreads, jumbo, and archtops and Ej16s for 000 and smaller. Generally consistent, buut D'addario replace any problematic items - Price increases very disturbing.

"Music to my ears"
These strings have the best tonal quality, having tried all other makes available for around the same price. l have been playing guitar for 45 years and these strings last longer than most. In my opinion, for acoustic guitar, you won't find better.

D'Addario light strings
These strings are the ones that Takamine use for their guitars before they leave the factory. They sound good, they last and in packs of three sets they're a good deal. HM

EJ16 Acustic guitar strings (12 guage)
I have used these strings for years and would not use another brand of string on any of my acoustic guitars. Fantasic tone clear,bright and with depth. Last a good time, but this depends on how your hands sweat. Great strings by a great company.

D'addario strings; very good.
D'addario strings are my favourite strings for an acoustic guitar. I like the physical feel of the strings, warm tones and quality of the strings (check out the finish around the ball ends).
