Very Good Adjustable Razor
Pros: The adjustable safety razor can be varied between mild and aggressive depending on the needs of the wet shaver. You can play with a 3 pass shave setting and a 2 pass shave setting and still get great results. Simple construction – the razor has a great design, is easy to use and will last for long time. Cons: Slippery handle, so don't drop it because if you crack the plastic end it is difficult to find a replacement. To use the razor, one has to go through a learning curve for assembly and usage, which makes it fall short for beginners.

Merkur Progress... one of the best!!!!!
Merkur Progress razor works great with any blade I use in it. Nothing but nice smooth shaves without any nicks, cuts or irritation afterwards. I have the Merkur Future to. Love them both. They're both great razors and if I had bought either of these when I started DE shaving I wouldn't have bought any other razors. These two are the only ones I'll shave with now. They're great!!!

Quality razor Great shaves
Love this razor! I'm using this razor with feather high stainless blades and have been getting great shaves with very few nicks .

Adjustable and well made.
Being able to adjust the razor is a great feature. I am trying different combinations of blades and settings to find one that is just right for me. I like the fact that I can go very mild when I set the razor at the very low end of its range.

Mercur Long handle progressive
Excellent quality will last years and with feather blades you get close soft shaves at medium setting after two shaves witch is recommended by the manufacturer.

excellent shave
After receiving my new Merkur adjustable I couldn't wait to try it. Right out of the box you could feel the quality, the heft and longer handle felt right. Fit and finish were spot on, in use it gave an effortless clean shave, I would highly recommend this model.

A great daily shaver
I can get the mildest or most aggressive shave I need before the shave or during the shave. The cleaning channels ensure unobstructed blades every time I rinse it.

Same great razor, better balance
After using a short handled Progress for a few months I was getting the best shaves I've ever had but still had the feeling that the balance was top heavy. When I switched to the long handled version it seemed to balance out much better. I like to rest the pinky finger underneath the bottom dial which was difficult with the short handled version. All in all, they're both great but I prefer the Long handle.

perfect razor
this is my second Merkur Progress razor. I love this razor and it has saved me considerable money compared to the double and triple edge razors that most use.
