Great speaker...
For SUCH a great price... I am really surprised about how this speaker sounds. I bought one prior to this one at Bestbuy a few months ago, and I REALLy fell in love with it since day one. When I saw this one with that price tag, I HAD TO GET IT. I bought it because I'm gonna try to sync them together if possible and if not I'm still keeping it because guys this INSIGNIA SPEAKER has an sound that beats most of the speaker the same size. Will Definitively Recommend this speaker to anyone. I mean the larger one out of the only two that came out to the market. There is a smaller version of this speaker which I have NOT tried yet! Nice speaker, but...
It's a good overall speaker but I wish it had a few more features, such as Audio Out. What you play is limited. It doesn't work with Macbook for Airplay. But the sound is great for the price.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Awesome Google Home alternative!
I can't think of anything negative about this product. This device is a great alternative to the $100+ Google Home at the cost ($40) of the Google Home Mini. This item not only displays the time but other info ask you ask it to perform tasks, ie temperatures, alarm times, ect. This is an excellent replacement to my old "dumb" alarm clock, effectively making it my new "smart" alarm clock when set up correctly. The routines make it nice to wake up in the morning by turning on my lights, turning my phone off silent, and telling me the news from my selected news outlets. The fact it also runs on battery keeps me from worrying if I ever had a power outage, that it would not wake me up in the morning. A really nice feature is the devices ability to detect your hand above it, lighting up the manual controls before you have to start guessing where the touch controls are. As far as volume and sound quality goes, this device surprised me. It can get very loud with almost no quality distortion. Great Smart Speaker with Google Assistant
This is a great speaker with Google Assistant built-in. It was half the cost of the Google Home and in my opinion looks way better. It sounds awesome Lots of bass ,but not too boomy, and good highs. The mics seem to work pretty good unless you have the volume up above 50, you'll need to kinda speak loudly almost yell for it to hear you. But it works great and I love the built-in clock very useful. The built-in battery is a awesome idea you can go portable and as long as you have a good wireless router you can go in your backyard or front and have music or radio for about 5 hours (med volume, higher volume less runtime). The one thing you need to know is the callsign or nickname of your favorite radio station so it can play it from tunein or iheart (i.e. Hey Google play KPNW or KQEN or 102.7 The Drive). Fantastic value
This thing is a steal. For less than the price of the smallest google branded device you get something that can be used as an alarm clock that does a whole lot more. One thing to keep in mind if waking up at a certain time is critical do not use this device. If it loses its network connection all functionality stops. Great speaker and so much cheaper than a Google Max
Great speaker and so much cheaper than a Google Max. This is the larger of the two Insignia Google Home speakers. I have two of the smaller ones and I love those. Wanted the larger size for my garage. Easily fills the three car garage with music or a podcast and sounds great. Great sound in a nice package
This is the third unit I've purchased, and my 8th Google Home audio device. These have some of the best sound out of the available Google enabled devices, with cool features like the current time and weather always on display. More than an Alarm Clock
Recently, my alarm clock ceased to operate so I was in the market for a replacement. When I saw the Insignia on sale I decided to give it a try. The shipping was very quick, I received mine in one day. I was not looking forward to setting it up, however, because sometimes tech products aren't user friendly and can turn into a fiasco. To my pleasant surprise, I just had to download the Google Home app and follow the simple instructions to connect the Insignia to my Wifi network. It then asks you to say a few things so it gets to know your voice. Set up turned out to be very easy and pleasant. Now I can say, "Hey Google, play some music" and it will play my Pandora playlist. I can say, "ok Google, set my alarm for 5:30 tomorrow morning".
