Awesome unit, but get one with the expansion pack installed
An industry standard recording interface, with all of the elements needed to record professional sounding instruments and vocals. I recommend purchasing a unit with the expansion pack (2.0) pre-installed, as it is a $100 upgrade on the AVID site, and greatly improves the overall useability of the unit. The lower priced units, such as the one that I purchased, did not have the expansion pack installed.
I know this, because I have one of each. Cheers, JL
The Avid Eleven is a great value. Whether using it to supplement your live rig or using it in your studio the options and fine tunings are unlimited and it’s ability to integrate with Protools is an added plus.
