Short handles, poor cutting blades
These shears need a longer handle and better blades. We currently have similar style shears of 3 different brands and all 3 are more satisfactory than the Fiskars. We expected much better shears from such a well known brand.

Impressive shears
Perfect for use around the ranch...clearing vines and small shrubs on fence lines and vines around the base of trees. If it will tackle hard job like these with ease, it will do anything you want it to around the house.

Telescopic Clippers
I love Fiskars for lawn products and purchased my daughter and her husband a full set of Fiskar lawn tools. I actually have the Craftsman version of these clippers and like them better because they are much lighter and easier to extend. Otherwise the Fiskar clipper is very heavy duty and am sure will do the job.
