Almost perfect if only brighter.
It does hold zero even when unmounting the scope which is a breeze. The only draw back is that the red dot is hard to see in the day time. I had to mainly use the green even in the highest setting to use when the sun light is out. So far so good!
Purchased this as a "cheap" red dot for a truck gun. I'm quite surprised it has continued to hold it's zero even after being removed and replaced using the quick detach mounts. Not a tack driver for sure but that was not its intended purpose, no red dot actually is at distance. It's as accurate as my 7.62 x 39 and a hog won't know the difference in an inch or two. Best bang for your buck
My UTG red/green circle dot works great on my HK MP5 in 22lr. Holds zero and both the colors are bright and vivid. I still need to co-witness this optic as I'm waiting for the proper riser. So far I've taken it off 3 times and re mounted via the quick release w/o losing my zero. I'm very careful when doing this and this definitely helps retain zero. Could be better
I just tested this optic at some CQB training and could not see the optics at all in the red even at the top brightness, the green optic was barely visible at the top brightness setting but I could make it out!
