A pattern that allows normal shaped women to make and wear a Mondrian Dress.
This is, in fact, a shipment of two patterns. Basically it is the base dress in one pattern and the other pattern is primarily the instruction to make the YSL Mondrian Dress. The base pattern is reproduced on brown paper which is very stable. This is good as you will need to trace the pattern onto tracing paper. Once you have done the tracing then you use the second pattern and its instruction to modify the trace that you have made. The instructions provided will enable you to produce the 4 panel version of the dress (the original version that you can see in Bath’s Museum of Fashion). It is easy to further modify your traced pattern to produce more panels. This design requires very accurate sewing but it is less daunting than it might initially seem. I have attached a photo of my finished dress. I am delighted with the end result and it works even though I am no Twiggy!

Vintage Patterns are so Cool!
I haven’t made my d reds yet, but the pattern quality is good and the instructions are excellent..I’m sure I won’t have any problems and will post pictures when I am done!
