Wilkinson Broadcaster Bridge Pickup
This pickup was purchased for a conversion of a budget Telecaster guitar to an Esquire model. The reason it was selected, was that it appeared to be constructed in a similar way to the original, but without the price ticket of a 'boutique' manufacturer. I have experience of guitar modification, and own several Telecasters with which to compare the results obtained by this conversion. The circuitry used for this mod' is similar to the 'Eldred' circuit, details of which are available via the internet. The result was far and away better than I actually had hoped for, very difficult to explain something as subjective as one's individual hearing, but suffice to say that the guitar was transformed, and will now hold it's own very comfortably with instruments costing several times more. I have other Wilkinson pickups in other guitars, but this one definitely has something special, and I will certainly be purchasing others to use in the future. I have in the past purchased 'name' pickups for my guitars, and achieved excellent results, this one does it at about a third of the cost. Well done Wilkinson.

Good Tele Bridge Pickup - great at the price
Great Alnico V tones for Tele. Not as loud as a ceramic (I still prefer my G&L MFD Bridge Pickup) but this is probably preferable to a Telecaster purist. A really nice rounded Tele Tone - not too brittle plenty of edgy lows. You'd be barmy to pay 2, 3, 4, 5 times this amount for one (IMO)

Looks and sounds authentic
It looks right, its fibre as opposed to plastic, its string wound to protect the winding instead of tape and it has cloth wound wires, but best of all it tears your ears off in a controlled and civilised fashion. I've accidentally found good bridge pups before but when I'm building from scratch this is my go - to.

Wilkinson WVOB pickup for rockabilly
Very good pickup for this money! I'm big fan rockabilly music and I upgraded my Harley Benton TE-30. ...It's really, it's really, it's really rockabilly!

first class!
"Value for money" is the first thing about this pickup. It is well put together with good quality parts,easily installed with the sound we have come to expect from Wilkinson products - please don't tweak it Trev,it sounds great as it is!

Hot Tele
This Pup will give you very good clean tones if you want it but put it through a tweed amp like a Fender Champ and you got yourself a real growl so as far as I am concerned you can't go wrong for the money.

To the price, its very good. I know what it is and I have a lot of diffferent pickups but I like really this one.
