Good Premise, Getting a Bit Long in the Tooth
This book deals with a standard theme - a hardened tough guy driving cross country through a post-apocalyptic United States. Considerable gratuitous violence and suspension of physical laws (rainstorms of rocks and boulders, decades after the dust from atomic war settled).
