I bought this HP Small Form Factor PC for a very modest price ($24). Yes it needed a CD/DVD drive which I had on my shelf from earlier builds. I also added another GB of memory to bring it to 2GB. I do believe I could have gone to 4 or possibly 8GB. I works well on two. Also changed from Linux to MS Windows 10. I also added a PCIe SoundBlaster sound card. Because it's an HP product one can easily find the manuals and specifications online to make clear what upgrades would work. I really set this up to use in my Guitar practice area. It takes up little space. It is rock steady and quick in performance. These work very well and are a good choice if one can do a bit of tweaking.
Got the motherboard wrapped and well protected in a short time and it did the job getting my computer back in working order! I am well pleased with the results after I replaced my old motherboard that would not show a display. It was giving me trouble for a long time and this replacement did the trick and my PC is up and running smoothly and better than ever!
