Fixed 'No sim card error'
After googling for fixes, i found this circuit board to be a possible cause to the problem of my phone telling me there was no sim inserted and to restart...just to get the same message again... Remember that the cause of this problem can be the sim card, the motherboard, the sim circuit board...or a combination of these. People leaving bad reviews because it didn't fix their problem don't know what they're talking about! In my case i fitted the new sim circuit board and it still didn't fix my problem. I then tried another sim and it worked fine so don't assume you've only got the one problem. If it didn't fix my problem then my motherboard would clearly have been the cause and would've resulted in a new phone. At only £2.95 it was worth trying this versus the cost of a new phone. There's a very good video on YouTube that shows you how to replace this circuit board. Just search for "Galaxy S4 SIM and micro SD card reader replacement" posted by GoCellPhoneRepair. Just remember to be very careful with the heat and take note of the alignment tabs on the left side of where it sticks down in the back of the phone, position the left side first when sticking it down.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Quick fix for a common problem
Very easy and cheap to remove old device and fit this new one, following instructions on YouTube. Original was damaged by inserting a nano sim card using an adaptor, sometimes called a carrier or tray. If anything gets caught on the card reader pins they can be damaged so be ultra careful with alignment of the nano sim in the tray, and don't insert the micro carrier without a nano sim loaded as you are almost certain to damage the pins when you try to remove the empty carrier tray.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

S4 Sim card removed error - this is the fix !
I bought this to fix my S4 that was on occasion (at least once per day) the "sim card removed" error. This means rebooting the phone which is a pain if you are just wanting to make a call - the error doesnt "announce itself" so you only find out by checking the phone. Easy enough to fit - use google or head straight to You Tube and you will find many guides or removing the board and refitting. Just take your time in fitting as it sticks in place with an adhesive sticker. Now 3 weeks on and NO more errors so phones all good.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Just the job! Fixed the 'SD card not detected' problem
Having previously purchased one of these from a different buyer - (that one only worked for the SIM card, not the SD card) - I was sceptical about replacing it with another 'bargain' - but now I am an expert at taking apart and rebuilding my Galaxy S4 I thought - Why not? I am really pleased I took the leap of faith and can state that I am really happy with this replacement part and my son now has a fully working phone again! Waste if time and money.

Didn't work for me
It is probably unfair to say this product is no good, because I do not know if this was the problem, I've tried two of these in my phone, they both worked fine for a couple of days, then problem came back. either no network or sim card removed, I thought this sim card reader would solve the problem, but it did not. also re set to factory settings, still have the problem.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
