Socket and scenery.
The box, being made of polycarbonate, should have a long life, it is of robust design, the catch works perfectly and it is waterproof owing to its rubber seal and backing wall gasket. No more cables through the window for the Christmas lights.
Every year we go through the same ritual of all the cables for the Christmas lights having to go through the bedroom window which has to then stay slightly open throughout the festive season. Not this year. Having fitted two of these waterproof twin sockets on the wall everything can now look tidy and controlled by their individual switches.
