12 zone Rainbird
I have had a 12 Zone Rainbird ESP type controller for about 25 years. I needed enough zones to allow for a "recovery" zone for my old well. I'd run 2 zones then recover, repeat. The new 1200 SST controller allows you to set start time for each zone ( 15 minute increments) so actually I don't need all 12 zones now. But I do have room to expand. The new timer is similar to the old one but I feel even easier to set up. Could not be easier. Highly recommend. I only hope it lasts half as long as the old controller

Easy to operate, built to last.
Upgraded from a circa 1989 Rain Bird RC-12 sprinkler controller (built to last). Nothing wrong with the old unit, I just needed a unit that will allow me to program each station independently from the others. The new unit does exactly as advertised and can be programmed with ease.

Great product that is easy to install and easy to set up.
Easy to install. I have two watering days with 10 active zones. The Rain Bird SST1200OUT was easy to set up and if you need clarification, there is an easy-to-find YouTube video to help.

Not the best sprinkler control but good for the price
there was a lot of this model on ebay. I question why. Was there something wrong with the product. I would have preferred a better model but the price was why I selected this one. Ran it thru the stations and it worked fine. It was a little harder to set up the date but finally was able to do it.
