Old ones are the best
This was the first af slr in the form we know today, so, it isn't fast but is worth it for any collection. It is all plastic construction but doesn't feel plasticy, it has all buttons, not a single dial. What to look for, they are fairly reliable, spare donner cameras can be very cheap. The rubber grips can turn sticky or brittle the light seals nearly always need replacing. They use 5 batteries. 4 x aka and the hidden CR 2016 , replacing this can often bring a seemingly dead camera back to life. Sold under the names 7000 AF, Maxxum 7000Af.
