Good plate carrier for the money.
GOOD: Well made using quality materials, fully adjustable for the sizing around and also the shoulder straps. Accepts medium and large size plates due to a Velcro system inside the carrier that prevents smaller plates from shifting around. Has a great system for releasing the shoulder straps and the rear straps for getting the armor off in a emergency. Shoulder straps are comfortable, but I have not had a opportunity to have wear it for an extended period yet, much better than the non-padded version I have worn before. BAD: No instructions on how to resize the carrier or its functions. All it has is the little information tag attached to it talking about the material that they used in the construction. It would have been nice to have had something to show how to adjust the shoulder straps since you have to take out the plastic cable that holds all the pieces together. It was not hard too figure out, but something to come with it to explain all the adjustments and or features. END: I recommend this carrier for anyone in the market for a good low cost minimalist carrier.

Perfect training tool
I selected this specific product for training purposes in order to train under loaded conditions. Replacing standard ballistic plates with the custom cut and precision weighed steel plates made specifically for this plate carrier available through Rogue Fitness make this the perfect training tool. This vest was actually selected by the 2015 Reebok CrossFit Games for one of the most challenging events. Many plate carriers pack sufficient padding on the shoulder straps that make training with significant loads uncomfortable; not the case here...plenty of padding on the shoulder straps. While I don't use this plate carrier in any real world tactical capacity, I am convinced that it's durable construction and needle work will hold up to the most grueling conditions. I am well pleased in the cost and value overall.

Great product even when used.
So this vest has clearly been used a lot. But that’s what these things are made to do. I already fitted it, threw plates in and ran. Super comfortable and no issues with the plates coming out. Highly recommend this to change up your training.

Solid plate carrier
I got this carrier to hold a couple of RMA level IV 10x12 plates. It holds them easily and with relative comfort. It is well-constructed with no loose seems or shoddy craftsmanship. The MOLLE/PALS grid holds whatever pouches you want to attach very solidly. The Velcro pile on the front and back is great for attaching ID panels and/or patches but doesn't get filled with whatever dirt and grime you may operate in. I definitely recommend buying this plate carrier.

5 star plate carrier
I've yet to buy a 5.11 product I didn't love, but the TacTec Plate Carrier is absolutely top shelf. There's a reason they use these at the CrossFit Games. Outstanding quality and comfort. I've used a handful of other weighted vests/plate carriers. Nothing else compares. I'm currently using it for Crossfit, but I also have a set up for the range with SAPI plates and all the attachments. Buy it, you'll love it!

You get what you pay for.
We bought this vest for our son at the suggestion of our crossfit coach who has a lot of experience with other vest systems using sand, metal slabs, etc. He suggested this vest using rogue weight plates and he was definitely on the money. The vest has velcro straps and adjustments that are of secure quality allowing a tight fit that won't bounce around when working out. Our boy is very happy with the fit and feel. There are cheaper options but this one is the best!

So this best is definitely a OSFA, even though the tag may say S-XL I was able to adjust it to fit my size 2XLT

Very satisfied.
I was looking for a plate carrier to replace my weighted vest during my workouts, something that was more suited to run in and after looking around I felt like the best would be the 5.11 and after reading how many others have been happy with their purchase I figured the 5.11 is the one I would buy, very sturdy and I would say it’s worth the price.

Outstanding vest
This plate carrier is so comfortable. The only thing bad about it is that it's not as roomy as most but once you adapt to it and slim line your gear its awesome. If really does alloy for a lot more movement and that's a huge plus.
