This minimizes cone breakup and distortion, allowing these woofers to work in perfect harmony with the horn-loaded compression driver. A groundbreaking dual chamber design, coupled with the Tractrix port, allows each 10" driver and port to operate independently, enhancing the linearity and reducing internal standing waves.
Had a pair of Klipsch RF 5's for over 26 years now and they actually still sound very good, but then, I connected these new RF 7 III's, and what a difference. Can't get over the clarity and the volume can go on forever! They are what they claim, and very heavy at 97 pounds per. Love the price I got on them, however, because they are b-stock items, they are only warrantied for 90 days, and Klipsch makes you go back through the seller if there's any problems...But, they came in perfectly boxed & shipped without a scratch on them....My entire home theatre is Klipsch including four ceiling speakers the center plus two Dolby-Atmos add ons. System sound better than a movie theatre!
