Great for decoupage and paper handicrafts
I use this for pasting decoupage paper on to wooden furniture, trays and plant-pot holders. It's excellent and one packet lasts far longer than expensive white glues. Doesn't damage any surface, so when you want to change your furniture, you can just remove the paper and then put on a new patterned paper!

Household name.
Solvite is a household name and well known. However I found that it wasn't really working with the paper I had, wich wasn't actually paper at all but plastic. And it couldn't grip the stuff well enough. The end result was fine though but nearly filled up my swear jar in the process.

Solvite, remember sticking a guy to a board dangled from a helicopter?
Made up this packet with 2lt if water as per the instructions. The wall was sized and had been emmulsioned first. It was just for 3 lengths of blown vinyl wallpaper. All went on ok. Came back later to find it all peeled off again. Not pleased one bit. Can only assume it's snyde solvite paste

Great wallpaper paste easy to mix and very good for heavy paper...

confusing
it said 50% extra free but was unsure if the instructions included that or had to double the amount of water, luckily I decided to do as the packet said, but feel it should be made clearer, but was easy to use, and stuck the wallpaper fine.

Solvite all purpose Extra Strong Wallpaper paste

Reccomend
Would reccomend, bought a cheaper brand and regretted it as all my paper came away from the wall, this did the job perfectly and wallpaper has stayed put! 👍

Does exactly what is says on the packet
The paste is easy to mix, and easy to apply. As it says on the packet any excess should be removed immediately as it dries quite quickly. It is has done an excellent job in re-sticking some lifting borders for me.

Overpriced
Product arrived in the time scale, however the item is overpriced for the size of the packet, especially with 50%free.
