Works well
I used it to helicoil 4 removed BMW exhaust stud holes in the cylinder heads [motorcycle]. The kit has everything apart from the 'engineer's tap wrench 1/4" '; you will require this to turn the tap, which has a square head unsuitable for any other device that I know of. That's about another £6. The ? shaped device is for placing the helicoil into the tapped hole: this has a depth ring which is secured by a grub screw (allen key supplied). My grub screw gave up the ghost immediately after being tightened which may be problematic in future! Apart from that it's good value for money, I think...Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

A quick repair
Used to renew threads cut in an alloy casting on a Kango hammer. They are subject to a lot of vibration and when bolts work loose the alloy threads are soon destroyed. Worked perfectly and now as good as new.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Vespa wing mirror repair
Cutting tool sharp and strong. Made short work of the aluminium bracket I was working on. Coil itself wound in easily into the newly cut thread, to the correct depth. Wing mirror wound in easily and tightened down firmly and securely.
