Pretty good action movie
This well done movie shows Naval aviators fighting a bureaucratically run war with no clear end goals. It shows frustrated men dealing with senseless losses of their friends in a war they weren't allowed to fight to win. The carrier flight deck scenes were very well done and there was good character development. Director John Milius has a well earned reputation for striving for accuracy and it shows in this movie.

great title
I have always enjoyed this show, I can relate being stationed on an Aircraft Carrier for four years..brings back a lot of memories...

Never forget them.
The movie is great. I come from this time period. Close to being involved myself. Many friends were here. I can relate to this movie for sure. It was filmed very well. Story was very real to me. Proud to have it on my shelf now. Thanks. Sincerely Rick L.

A tribute to a great naval aircraft and the men that flew them in harms way!
I just like War flicks and this one is a good one!

Filmed on my ship, great movie and actors
I served aboard the USS INDEPENDENCE, so I just had to have the scenes from the old gal.
