Well Worth It/
Excellent series. Pity there is no follow up season with some of the other characters that were introduced, instead the producers waited a few years then came up with something similar in name only without the gothic horror of the original, and it bombed. Great actors in the original series.

The Best!
Penny Dreadful is the most engaging series I have ever seen. The characters are developed well throughout the story and the acting is superb, as is the plot and the special effects. If you are a fan of historical horror, a la Frankenstein, Dracula and the like, with a twist, then this series is for you!

Wonderfully terrifying, pulling you into Penny's life.
Superb acting, great cast, a bit dark frightening topics of light, penny, fighting forces of darkness.
