Good Optics, Great Value
Although not an "L" lens, it is well made and an ideal fast prime focal length which is ideal for shooting portraits.

Very good VFM. A good way to develop photographic expertise once you get to know how to properly use it. Plenty of on-line advice available for help in this respect if needed.

The lens is very sharp at F1.8 and become extremely sharp without chromatic dispersive at F4.0 and below. Good value for a portrait lens.
