The controller is compatible with the new Tutorial feature in rekordbox do, which explains basic equipment operation step by step. Even if you’ve never ventured behind the decks before, you can learn how to DJ. Thanks to the lightweight and portable design, you can take the DDJ-400 to friends’ houses to practice together or bring it to parties and small venues to perform. And if you want to take mixing to the next level, you’ll feel at home in the club DJ booth because the DDJ-400 inherits design traits from our professional range. The layout of dedicated play/pause and cue buttons, Beat FX, CDJ-style looping controls and more is inherited from our NXS2 set-up.

Great Entry Product
Great product for getting into professional Dj setups, good enough to still play gigs and parties with. Has most features seen on large CDJs and can be used on rekordbox without a license key.

Great Controller with lots of functions, good value for money.
I bought this to learn how to DJ during quarantine/lockdown. It keeps me entertained and i'm slowly learning new DJ tricks and tips every day. I've had hours and hours of fun with this device and have used it almost every day. It has quite a lot of functions for the price and is definitely one of the best devices for a beginner.

This product is FANTASTIC. If you want the perfect entry level DJ set up, this is for you. Easy to use interface and quickly installed. Pioneer really have done well with this product. I also Highly recommend the pioneer DJ headphones.

Bargain for 200 squid
Wanted something to kickabout for parties as I'm tired of converting cue points for Traktor. Now I can just use recordbox.

Great starter deck
Easy to use and lots of tutorials on YouTube. Same format as big club/venue decks so you can move up to more pro level equipment. Highly recommend 🙂
