Stunning low light photos
Bought it for low-light photos. It's brilliant! Battery doesn't last that much, but two are provided which makes it alright. Very probably a heavier battery is required for videos.

Snap up a bargain
I bought this as I have an A7 and needed a second camera for video projects. Essentially it is a digital back for my lenses and even after all these years an original series A7S still produces good video and of course all my existing lenses, batteries etc. work so minimal outlay on other items

Excellent
This camera beats everything else in it's price range hands down in terms of low-light performance. S-LOG provides wonderful colour correction possibilities, and filming in Full Frame is a dream for indie film makers. Would recommend having plenty of batteries handy and a way of stabilising the camera to get the most out of a shoot.

Like this camera
This camera is amazing, it can take awesome pictures in the dark. It produces clean video without any noise even at 12800 ISO. Great)

the low light capabilities are legendary - this camera has already been on an astronomy trip to the Canary Islands
