Disappointing!
Have wanted a Dualit toaster for years and finally got one. Sadly it's no better than the cheap toaster it replaced. Some of the main frustrating points are, - When doing 4 slices of toast the left hand side controls have to be set differently to the right hand side controls to achieve the same(ish) level of browning. - There are a lot of specific rules for use of toaster slots for some reason. So if your partner likes hers lightly toasted and you like yours 'normal' then that's not possible as the instructions say not to put one slice of bread in each side (and leave a slot vacant). - No matter what slot is used or how many pieces of bread you're toasting in any combination each one comes out with a different level of browning. Even the same piece of toast is different on each side (all slots). (Believe me I've wasted a lot of bread experimenting.) - The instructions recommend not to place under a cupboard and I can see why. This toaster emits quite a lot of heat so I have to position it towards the front of the worktop, not safe when you've got little ones around. So to sum up, don't waste your money, buy a cheaper toaster and you won't be disappointed if your toast isn't just the way you like it. Hope this is helpful.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
