40HP SH101 in Eurorack. Still a massive beast!
SH101 in a Eurorack! When I was looking to get into Eurorack, this was one of the first modules I wanted. Having played with SH-101s for years, I looked forward to adding one ot my small, but growing system. It's compact, the sliders can take getting used to and it has wild range that you need to learn how to tame (just enough but not too much) so it does run wild all over your music. Only downsides are the size: if I decide to play gigs then do I sacrifice 40HP for a monosynth when I could easily use stuff like uPlaids thats only 8HP? Maybe I'll just get a bigger case for gigs!
